About Cobey Bienert
Raised in the quiet town of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Cobey began performing at the age of 14 with his first band, Before Summer Ends. His musical journey evolved with The Hudson Branch, where he gained invaluable experience touring nationally, collaborating with fellow artists, and writing/producing music.
In 2016, Cobey shifted his focus to custom songwriting and scoring for films and podcasts. He partnered with Gimlet Media and The Free Press, composing scores for acclaimed podcasts such as Crimetown, The Pitch, Honestly, and The Witch Trials of J.K. Rowling. Throughout the years, he's honed his craft in transforming personal narratives into deeply meaningful, custom-written songs.
Most recently, Cobey composed an original score for a full-length independent feature film and continues to collaborate with clients looking to elevate their projects with thoughtfully crafted music.
He now lives in Elgin, Illinois, with the love of his life and their beloved dog, Cooper.
